Mr Dan Kaminsky exposed a way for malicious hackers to hijack DNS and re-direct people to fake pages even if they typed in the correct address for a website. The founder of the flaw said, speaking for the first time in a conference in Las Vegas, “Every network is at risk. That’s what this flaw has shown.”
At the conference, Mr Kaminsky discussed 15 other ways for the flaw to be exploited, making it easier for those with the knowledge to take advantage of it.
